REMOTE Patient Billing Specialist (EST/CT Time Zones)

**MUST BE LOCATED IN EASTERN OR CENTRAL TIME ZONES**

Hours: 9:30AM-6:00PM(EST)

Job Overview:

  • As a Billing Account Specialist, you will provide excellent customer service to Identify patient’s needs to help educate them on CareCentrix role in their care.
  • You will determine the acceptance of patient’s financial responsibility through claim research, plans and eligibility to resolve the patient’s account.
  • Identify and escalate patient issues and concerns
  • Handle around 30-40 inbound calls from patient, provider, and insurance calls on a daily basis.
  • Calls come in through an inbound queue and our team members assist our customers by addressing patient billing inquiries and out of pocket costs

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of Call Center experience is REQUIRED
  • Must meet internet speed requirements (will be tested) / Confidential workspace
  • Experience within Healthcare is preferred (enrollment, eligibility, claims processing, collections, reimbursement, insurance verification, scheduling high-volume etc.) or RELATED FIELD.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be available to work an 8-hour shift, in a call center, stationary environment

Work Environment:

  • 100% Remote - Equipment provided
  • Call center environment / inbound call center / queue-style calls
  • Hours: Monday-Friday – 9:30AM-6:00PM(EST)
