Relationship Banker Jobs

The Relationship Banker is responsible for developing and maintaining banking relationships with existing customers in portfolio offering additional products and services to meet the customers changing needs. They are responsible for assisting and on boarding new Client Relationships within the Market and providing support to the Market Presidents with administrative and operational duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serves as first line of defense for risk management by identifying and reporting suspected or known violations of law.
• Delivers exceptional customer service to all existing and prospective customers while following bank defined policies and procedures.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of bank products and services and communicates internally of products offered by the bank’s competition
• Assists relationship managers within market with the maintenance of accounts, including but not limited to consumer and commercial savings accounts, certificates of deposit and checking accounts, and ensures quick and accurate execution of customer requests
• Liaison between customers, branch, treasury management, and other departments within the bank to resolve customer inquiries, issues or complaints to resolution.
• Meets face-to-face or telephonically with existing and prospective customers to evaluate their banking needs and introduce additional bank products and services.
• Delivers persuasive presentations to existing and prospective customers connecting their needs with product and service solutions.
• Works with Bank Service Manager and relationship managers to ensure compliance with bank policies and procedures
• Assists relationship managers within market with the on boarding of new client relationships.
• Maintain assigned portfolio through routine interaction and addresses any issues or concerns that could lead to account closure and escalates to appropriate management within the bank.
• Assists Market President with administrative and operational duties
• Develops relationships with existing customers through ongoing communication and understanding of their current and expected banking needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience developing and maintaining strong customer relationships
• 3-5 years of experience in banking industry with strong aptitude for sales

A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum base salary or pay for this position is $31.34/hr to $47.01/hr equivalent to $65,192k to $97,788k. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. A business line incentive may be provided ranging from 0% - 1% per loan and 0%-2% per deposit, in addition to a medical and other benefits, dependent on the position.
