Citizens Private Bank has accelerated its strategy to build out Wealth Management, scale Business Banking, grow deposits, and expand in key growth markets. We’re looking for talented preferred bankers, who demonstrate a track record of delivering a white glove experience to clients that results in long-term client loyalty. In this role you will, provide personal banking, commercial and business banking to high-net-worth individuals, families, nonprofits, private family foundations and in private equity venture and professional service firms. You will break down traditional product silos and be empowered to do what’s in the client’s best interest. Our Preferred Bankers pride themselves on doing right by the client and thinking two steps ahead for their needs. You will partner closely with your Private Relationship Managers and leverage the strength of the Citizens enterprise, collaborating with partners across Wealth Management, Commercial Banking, Mortgage and more, to deliver on individual client needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing exceptional client service on the phone and occasionally in person.
- Maintain client relationships and open new accounts.
- Verify the identity of clients that enter into a relationship with the Bank.
- Acquire knowledge of existing Bank products, specifically on the deposit side, but with a focus on Wealth Management and Loan products.
- Keep up-to-date with new Bank product offerings and services.
- Assist with obtaining and organizing all required documentation and filing.
- Adhere to and comply with the applicable federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering (e.g., Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.) as well as Bank policies and procedures.
- Identify and report suspicious activity to the Anti-Money Laundering Officer.
Required Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree
- One to two years of experience in a professional financial services role
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask
- A commitment to be a collaborative team player
- Knowledge of banking operations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Hours & Work Schedule:
- Work Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Hours per Week: 40
Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position is $136,000 - $204,000, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
