Sales leader covering the Laboratory Equipment Specialists for the Primary Care Acute, Reference Lab & POL segments within McKesson Medical Surgical. Preferred candidates will live close to an airport to provide access to the Laboratory Equipment Specialist team and Non-Waived laboratory accounts. This high-profile position will be responsible for growing both new and existing business by directing the sales activities of 11 outside laboratory capital equipment specialists, cultivating a system of proactive sales and service delivery, developing strategic account plans, establishing and monitoring sales goals, and developing close administrative relationships with key accounts.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Achieve all sales related goals (Capital EQ, sales, GP$ and P&L goals)
2. Create strategies to obtain new customers and market penetration within the assigned markets. Collaborate with Regional Vice Presidents, Area Sales Managers and Account Managers
3. Hands on development of the Laboratory Equipment Specialists s via traveling within the sales region and also perform Business Reviews with customers to ensure service levels are being met
4. Hire, train, develop and performance manage the Laboratory Equipment Specialist team
Minimum Job Qualifications:
Education/Training –

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Business Experience –

• 8+ years sales experience
• 5+ years sales management experience

Specialized Knowledge/Skills –

• Demonstrated performance management skills
• Experience selling to C-suite
• Ability to travel 50%-70%
• Proficiency with Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and CRM tools.
• Demonstrated sales leadership skills
• Mature confidence and self awareness (can influence others diplomatically)
• Ability to make difficult decisions and have difficult conversations
• Financial acumen (compare quarterly trends, year to year growth, margin erosion, etc )

Working Conditions:
Environment:

• Must have the ability to travel daily within a large multi-state region.
• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ideal Candidate should live East of the Mississippi river.

Physical Requirements:

• Large percent of time performing computer based work is required.

In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
Our Total Target Cash (TTC) Pay Range for this position:
$141,200 - $235,300
Total Target Cash (TTC) is defined as base pay plus target incentive.
