Executive Summary:

As Regional Manager at Extrity Services, you play a vital role in overseeing the operations and management of multiple sites within the region. You are responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of security services, maintaining client satisfaction, and leading a team of security professionals. With your strong leadership skills and excellent communication abilities, you contribute to the success of our organization in providing top-notch security solutions.

Reporting Structure:

The Regional Manager reports to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and collaborates closely with the Operations, Human Resources, and Finance departments.

Key Responsibilities:1. Schedule Management:
  • Communicate schedules to employees through phone calls and text messages on a daily basis.
  • Handle scheduling challenges, including accommodating employee requests for schedule changes based on personal circumstances or college commitments.
  • Coordinate and manage daily schedules to ensure all employees arrive on time for their shifts, with particular attention to overnight shifts.
2. Employee Management:
  • Maintain regular communication with existing employees, including sending emails to assess availability and interest in additional shifts.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the regional team, fostering strong relationships with employees.
  • Collaborate with the Operations department to distribute the finalized schedule to clients.
  • Foster a culture of effective communication and teamwork within the regional team.
  • Engage in ongoing recruitment efforts to hire reliable and committed security professionals.
3. Client Communication:
  • Conduct regular check-ins with clients to ensure their satisfaction and proactively resolve emerging issues.
  • Establish and maintain regular communication with clients at the assigned sites.
  • Collaborate with site managers and staff to address changes or issues that may arise.
  • Handle client inquiries, promptly address concerns, and ensure smooth operations at the assigned sites.
4. Software Tools:
  • Familiarize yourself with OfficerMetrics, a tool used for monitoring security tours conducted by the guards.
  • Utilize software tools such as Humanity, Slack, and Airtable to facilitate scheduling and communication with employees.
  • Provide support to employees with limited software proficiency, ensuring they can navigate the necessary platforms effectively.


5. Onboarding and Training:
  • Maintain consistency in onboarding procedures while continuously seeking opportunities to improve the process.
  • Personally meet new hires at their assigned locations, explaining site details, and ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Oversee the comprehensive onboarding process for new hires, including conducting interviews and evaluating candidates in person.
  • Collaborate with the Illinois office to provide training and orientation to new employees.
6. Site Management:
  • Ensure security personnel are appropriately dressed and equipped for their duties, including carrying a flashlight.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of each site, establishing rapport with employees and guests by using their first names.
  • Maintain detailed records in OfficerMetrics, Airtable, and the Guard App to document site activities accurately.
7. Continuous Improvement:
  • Propose alternative methods for evaluating candidates during the recruitment process, such as in-person interviews at the office.
  • Identify areas for improvement in recruitment strategies, advocating for a diverse pool of applicants.
  • Collaborate with management to enhance the onboarding process and explore opportunities to streamline tasks and responsibilities, ensuring efficient operations.


Experience and Knowledge:


The Regional Manager in this position has accumulated the following experience and knowledge:

1. Operations Management:
  • Experience in developing and implementing operational strategies to optimize efficiency and service delivery.
  • Strong understanding of security industry practices, including risk assessment, incident response, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Proven track record in effectively managing and overseeing operations across multiple sites or locations.
2. Leadership and Team Management:
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in effectively leading and motivating a diverse team of security professionals.
  • Proficiency in employee management, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and conflict resolution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
3. Process Improvement:
  • Experience in identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance operational processes and procedures.
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to identify trends, assess performance, and make data-driven decisions for process optimization and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of workforce management tools and software, such as scheduling and tracking systems, to streamline operations and optimize resource allocation.
