The Regional Marketing Associate role is responsible for supporting/executing strategic programs with cross-functional teams to create demand within a given territory in North America. This specific role will be focused on the West Enterprise market. Working closely with the Territory Sales Directors, Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), Channel Sales and the broader Go-to-Market team, you will drive execution of regional field events, programs and campaigns; and work with our partners to drive business value.


This role, reporting to the Sr. Regional Marketing Manager Lead for West to drive pipeline through a highly visible portfolio of regional marketing programs and events. A successful candidate will have knowledge of integrated regional marketing programs and know how to align to corporate goals. The role will require proven ability to work with vendors and internal constituents through virtual/in-person events, email, direct mail, and must have the ability to effectively work collaboratively and cross-functionally. You’ll be responsible for executing regional based programs, assisting in the coordination of those lead generating activities.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Help with the research and development of events, sponsorships, face to face marketing platforms that align to corporate goals.
  • Support Regional Marketing Managers with campaign operations including internal SFDC campaign creation, coordination within event project management tools and Splash registration page creation and management
  • Ensure leads generated from campaigns are loaded and routed correctly to sales.
  • Execute virtual trade shows and events including managing logistics, staffing, and lead follow-up.
  • Work closely with Sales and Regional Marketing Managers on pre-event and campaign prep as well as post-campaign follow up with Sales Development Representatives.
  • Maintain communication to Okta partners in regards to joint-regional programs, the partner portal and market development funds.
  • Help manage Okta’s fulfillment house and promotional item purchases.
  • Support Regional Marketing Managers via communication of upcoming campaigns, and garner feedback for future optimization.
  • Manage program-related lead list prep, cleanup and uploads.


QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Strong analytical abilities. You love working with data, analyzing outcomes, and scoping out key insights to establish continuous optimization.
  • Experience in executing integrated, ROI-driven marketing and lead generation programs is a plus.
  • Initiative, a sense of urgency, ability to multi-task, and a "can do" attitude
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Budget Management Skills
  • Experience with marketing automation & CRM platforms a plus (preferably with Marketo and Salesforce)
  • Team Player/Collaborative/Great Attitude
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, environment where you may have to wear multiple hats.
  • Organization and time management skills, rigor, attention to details
  • Enthusiasm for challenges and strong work ethic
  • 2-3+ years of marketing experience

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:


$80,000—$108,000 USD


The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between:


$89,000—$120,000 USD
