Karma and Luck seeking a part-time Recruiter/Headhunter to support our talent acquisition efforts. The role will combine using traditional recruiting techniques and planning and executing creative recruiting sourcing & recruiting campaigns designed to attract passive and active candidates. The role will also be responsible for collaborating on workforce planning, building recruiting plans, ensuring pre-qualification and presentation of top candidates to hiring managers.
Responsibilities
- Use social media networks and job boards (e.g. Indeed.com, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter) to look for and connect with potential candidates
- Develop a network of potential candidates and industry professionals that align with the Karma and Luck brand.
- Ask for referrals from internal and external networks for hard-to-fill roles.
- Implement numerous sourcing strategies including referral generation, direct sourcing, and networking to improve candidate development in support of business needs.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies and communications in support of hiring demands.
- Send recruiting emails and follow up with candidates.
- Conduct searches using traditional and creative sourcing methods, including but not limited to: candidate outreach, online searches, job postings, internal database searches, industry organizations and associations, and referrals.
- Review online portfolios and resumes to pre-screen candidates.
- Measure and report on recruiting metrics, like source of hire, and time-to-fill.
- Contact past applicants for new job opportunities.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify each position’s requirements.
Qualifications
- Ability to succeed in fast past environment and adapt to change quickly.
- Flexibility and responsiveness in managing multiple projects in sometimes high-pressure situations simultaneously.
- Ability to understand changing market dynamics and subsequently be creative in finding candidates to fit those parameters.
- Detail oriented and highly organized.
- Strong interpersonal skills with exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (particularly business email writing knowledge)
- Good time-management skills with the ability to handle various open positions simultaneously.
- Prior experience with high volume recruiting a plus.
- A superior sense of urgency with the demonstrated ability to deliver results.
- Experienced with social networks, professional sites and resume databases.
