Recreation Soccer Coach Jobs

USA Sport Group is at the forefront of providing high-quality sports enrichment programs to over 60,000 kids annually. With classes and camps taking place in over 400 towns across NY, NJ, PA & CT including preschool sports, soccer, tennis, basketball, t-ball, and more, we are always on the lookout for great people to join our team.

As a USA Sport Group Recreation Soccer Coach you will be responsible for working with children aged 5 to 11, that are mostly at the beginner level of play. In many instances this will be the child's first time playing the sport. Working with your own group of children, these sessions are all about learning the basics of the game and making sure everyone is having a good time. A curriculum is provided every week for every session. Dependent on skill-set and your coaching background, you may also have the opportunity to work on our advanced programs, and/or our private lessons.

The perfect candidate for this position is someone who knows the game of soccer, has energy, an upbeat personality, and can control and inspire participants. We offer full training and support for those who possess these qualities.

Seasonal Overview

• Summer: soccer camps are held from late June to the end of August. Camps typically run weekdays from 9am to 12pm / 3pm. Summer weekly sessions run on weekends and evenings for 6-8 weeks.
• School Vacation Days: schools out camps take place throughout the year when school is not in session. These camps can run for 1 to 5 days and typically take place 9am-12pm / 3pm.
• Spring, Fall & Winter: 8-10 week seasons. Soccer sessions typically take place on weekends and after-school on weekdays. Daytime weekday work may be available for those interested in coaching our preschool soccer programs.
