Job Description
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Excellent internal and external customer service skills
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association First Aid and CPR Certifications are not required when applying, but must be obtained prior to employment


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • Clerical experience along with the ability to multi-task
  • Previous experience managing computer systems and point of sale systems along with basic knowledge using Microsoft Windows software
  • Experience in athletics, aquatics, fitness or general recreation


Receives, greets and enters membership data of all persons entering the Recreation Center; evaluates each members' current status; answers all incoming phone calls for the Recreation Center; assists in preparing attendance reports; distributes athletic and game equipment from the control desk area; supervises discipline in the lounge and game room areas; receives daily fees for swimming, fitness center or guest fees; assists applicants in completing membership application forms; receives membership application and fees; receives applications fees for activities and specialty classes; assists in keeping area clean and organized; keeps fliers stocked and makes copies as needed; assists with staffing and/or supervising other program areas within the Recreation Center and Department on an as needed basis; performs other related duties as required.


This position will be mainly focused on weekend hours.
