Job Description
Description: PACE of Southwest Michigan is seeking an experienced Receptionist to add to our team! The Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for the organization. The Receptionist will perform clerical support in an efficient and professional manner in accordance with established procedures. Skills and Knowledge
  • Directs visitors to the appropriate person/location and assists participants with sign-in/sign-out log
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Able to interact with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT)
  • Supports the organization by delivering excellent service to all customers including staff, participants, family, visitors, and callers
  • Able to utilize basic computer skills in the workplace
  • Abides by all established PACE of Southwest Michigan policies, rules, and regulations
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule
  • Excellent interpersonal skills Requirements: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience : Must have at least two years experience in a clerical position with advanced computer skills preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, preferred. Ability to type 40-50 wpm preferred. Number and Type of Employees Supervised (optional): None. Licensure, Registry or Certification Required: Valid MI driver's license preferred. Special Training: Only acts within the scope of his or her authority to practice. Meet a standardized set of orientation and/or individual competencies for the specific position description established by PACE of Southwest Michigan and approved by CMS before working independently. Immunizations: Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up-to-date before engaging in direct participant contact. Specific Requirements and Considerations : May be subject to exposure of infectious wastes, diseases, conditions or hazardous chemicals, etc., including potential exposure to TB, AIDS, and/or Hepatitis B.
