Who we are looking for
This role will report directly to the head of R&D in a small team of 4-5 people and be responsible for Machine Design, Process Design, and Development, Tooling Design and Manufacturing, as well as PLC Programming and Robot Integration. The role requires a wide variety of skill sets and the ability to work in multiple disciplines simultaneously. Must be mechanically minded, open to new and creative ideas, as well and versed in the practical knowledge of getting something built. This is a hands-on role that requires working with a small group of R&D engineering who will be developing cutting-edge automation and process equipment for both Oribi and ReBuild.

What you bring to the Team
- Creative: Able to bring passion, creative solutions, and ideas to resolve issues or improve the efficiency of existing systems, processes, and designs.
- Must have experience with Composites.
- Systematic Approach: is organized and can build systems to manage processes and create repeatable success
- Flexible/Adaptable. Recognizes there is no one size fits all approach. No silver bullets. Constantly rethinking how work is done and making modifications and improvements. Can multitask and operate in a complex environment.
- Other skills and experience that will come in handy: Experience with Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems knowledge, CNC Programming, CNC Machining, and Waterjet Cutting.
- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or related field
- Honesty: is transparent throughout the project when discussing project goals and performance, no matter the updates or outcome.
- Experience with SolidWorks modeling is helpful.
- Proficiency in Machine Design, Process Design, and Development.
- Must be an expert in Solidworks, PLC Programming, Tooling Design and Manufacturing, Robot Integration, and Engineering.
- Team Player: Can work on collaborative multidisciplinary projects and is open to feedback and/or other viewpoints
Salary Range: $72,000-$109,000 depending on qualifications
