GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Join a dynamic team at the forefront of the intersection between residential construction, economics, and data science. We seek a driven and intellectually curious individual with a passion for quantitative work to help us tackle some of the most challenging questions in the industry. As a member of our quantitative research team at John Burns Research and Consulting, you will have the opportunity to use the power of data to provide innovative solutions for our clients in residential construction.

If you are always seeking new knowledge, loves to explore complex data sets, and relentlessly pursue the truth, then we want to hear from you. You will be an integral part of our team, building forecasting models and generating independent economic theories to provide valuable insights to our clients. You will have access to our extensive internal database and subject matter experts, allowing you to explore and analyze the data with the most up-to-date information available.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Find creative solutions to technical/analytical problems.
• Independently query and manipulate data from our database.
• Use statistics, economics, and data science to build reproducible forecasting models for the residential construction market.
• Help answer detailed questions from clients about our forecasts and the residential construction market.
