Overview:
Minimize non-conformance by following quality procedures and support Company Quality Policy. Also, to maintain calibrated test equipment, prepare test data, and identify areas for quality control improvement.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inspect raw material.
Process non-conforming products per QAPR-83 procedure.
Familiar with checking plating heat treatment and, outside services
Familiar with preparing packing slips, attachments for shipments to customers and outside services
Q.A. Technicians will learn and implement inspection procedures in Q.A. Manual.
Update and maintain quality documents and records.
Gage calibration and record keeping.
Help quality inspectors when needed.
Flexible Schedule: 6:00 am - 4:30 pm, or 700 am - 5:30 pm ( M-F)
* Overtime availability Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Inspection or quality technician
Understanding show math
High level of visual awareness
Experience with with GD & T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), gage calibration, and R & R (Repeatability & Reproducibility) is required.
Advanced organizational skills
Familiar with PC data entry and Microsoft office
Experience with reports and collecting data
Ability to work alone with minimal supervision
Ability to analyze and interpret industry and customer specifications and standards
Familiar with micrometers, calipers, dial gages, comparators, surfometer, hardness tester, blueprint reading, SPC charting
Ability to speak, read and write English / bilingual in Spanish would be helpful, but not necessary.
