Quality Technician Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform inspection when appropriate.
• Perform capability study. Develop measuring program, and techniques.
• Develop and perform receiving inspection/ incoming audit as per relevant plan.
• Receiving inspection/ in-coming audit.
• Create In-Process Control Plan [IPCP], In-process and First/Last piece inspection report.
• PPAP submissions, performs SPC analysis.
• Create customer ISIR with Balloon print.
• Reporting to Top Management on the effectiveness and suitability of the FSMS.
• Performing final and dock audit as per relevant plan.
• Maintaining and ensuring that the goals of ISO 9001:2008 Quality System are followed.
• Has authority to put on HOLD any non-conforming products by issuing DMR system or stop production if necessary to correct quality problems.
• Acts as the backup Food Safety Team Leader in support of the FSSC 2200 requirements. Work in conjunction with the QMS Management Representative to integrate with the overall company QMS.
• Ensure relevant training and competencies of the food safety team
• Report promptly to managers with responsibility and authority for corrective action of products and processes, which do not conform to requirements.
• Reporting any nonconforming part, product, process or system to the Quality & Technology Specialist.
• Operate and create program for VMM, CMM and color spectrophotometer.
• In-process audit, final audit, dock audit.
• Prepare PPAP package with control plan, flow charts, SPC study, gage R&R and help with FMEA.
• Establish the FSMS and associated documentation.
• Work with Engineers, tool room and sampling tech regarding initial sampling of new or existing part.
• Collect statistical data, document control.
• Acts as the Food Safety Team Leader in support of the FSSC 2200 requirements. Work in conjunction with the QMS Management Representative to integrate with the overall company QMS.
• Manage and organize the work of the food safety team
• The purpose and unction is to perform ISIR [Initial Sample Inspection Report].

Quality Technician Requirements

• Minimum High School graduate required.
• Computer literacy in MS Windows, and MS Office Package.
• Understanding of personal computers and knowledge of Microsoft Office and business systems.
• Will be required to use hand on tools, including micrometer, calipers, height gage, as well as able to make program of VMM, CMM and color spectrophotometer.
• Must have advanced blueprint reading skills as well as the ability to read and understand work instructions.
• Experience to make gage and fixture to measure part is plus.
• Minimum of 3 years QC experience in injection molding environment.
