SureStaff immediately needs a Process Technician I in Lake Zurich, IL. Direct Hire with a salary range of $45k-$73k, depending on years of experience.
SummaryClean, set up, and operates injection molding machines. Operates and adjusts injection molding machine to achieve the highest quality part. Duties and Responsibilities

• Follows ISO/IATF, safety, environmental procedures, and department and corporate policies and procedures.
• Stops injection molding machine and performs daily tool PM in rotation to clean.
• Use of inspection tools. (e. g. micrometer)
• Ensures that parts are conforming after the restart.
• Maintain the department/ work area clean and organized.
• Restarts the injection molding machine.
• Communicates with supervisor to aid in the increase of production and quality.
• Handling of raw material.
• Read and understands operator instructions. (e. g. operating machines, quality)

Authority

• Stops production if the quality is not to standard.

Job Knowledge

• 1 -2 years minimum

Abilities

• Ability to comprehend simple, sometimes detailed, oral and written instructions.
• Ability to quickly and repeatedly clean tools and restart the machine.
• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
• Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed and uninvolved oral instructions.

Education and Training

• Training provided.

Tools and Equipment

• Steel-toed shoes and safety glasses are required at all times.
• Hand tools, various wrenches, and maintenance tools for installing dies.
• Production equipment as supplied.
