Job Summary: Under limited supervision, performs quality control tasks using the latest developments in inspection and statistical techniques to assess and ensure product compliance with our customer’s requirements. Define internal and external problems and resolve them through a systematic methodology that identifies root causes, implements countermeasures, and verifies results.
Responsibilities:

• Evaluate Drawings and Engineering standards including critical dimensions.
• Perform internal product / process audits. Control Plan audits and identify improvements.
• Support lean initiatives and Problem Solving (5s, RIE's, SQDIP, MDI, 9 step).
• Comply with company policies and procedures including those related to EHS & Engineering Standards.
• Update and audit the Control Plans of the workstations.
• Support the implementation of containment actions to prevent process defects and/or escapes.
• Execute other tasks and projects, as required.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures as per BOS and engineering standards.
• Carry out Process Audits, including but not constrained to verify that the equipment that requires calibration has the current calibration.
• Solve problems related to quality, including establishing the necessary process controls. Interpret drawings.
• Perform mechanical visual inspections (MVI), as assigned to the unit.
• Perform data analysis: non-conforming material, Warranty, Escapes, and others.
• Systems usage to support CTO clearing reject, evaluating /inspecting the rework completion.
• Support of non-compliant material system, segregate and dispose of the material as required.
• FQA’s- initial investigation investigations support/closure and apply simple problem solving to the resolution.
• Create and maintain quality work instructions, visual aids, and control plans.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
• Equivalent Work Experience or Current Degree Enrollment Acceptable

• Must be detail oriented to ensure all quality requirements are met.
• Must be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to effectively build relationships with employees at all levels.
• Ability to learn computer software applications.
• Use of Plant internal corrective action systems
• Must be a high-energy self-starter, results-oriented proactive and able to work effectively with little supervision.
• Use of Plant work order system.
• Experience with MS Office products required, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer, and Outlook. Must pass computer proficiency test within 60 days.
• Must be willing to work flexible work hours/OT as needed
