Job Description

A client is looking to hire a Quality Engineer II at an exciting medical device company in order to support the product's quality and to maintain the company's existing Quality Management System.


The company is a prominent medical imaging company located in the Greater Seattle Area. The position will be fully onsite, five days a week, and will report directly to the Lead Quality Manager, who will also be responsible for training.


Salary

  • $80,000 - $110,000 per year (based on experience)


Essential Duties

  • Oversee Document Control as well as product life cycle management.
  • Assistance with audits - both internal and external
  • Collaborate with other departments in order to address quality issues and facilitate CAPA procedures.
  • Provide support for QMS (Quality Management System)
  • Data analysis, risk assessment, NCR, and MRB support.


Minimum Requirements.

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (or related field)
  • 1-2 years working in quality engineering or quality assurance roles (particularly within the medical equipment manufacturing industry).
  • Experience with CAPAs, Supplier Quality, Internal/External Audits, NPRs, Document Control, eQMS.
  • Hardworking demeanor and strong sense of accountability for project success.
