We’re building a new end-to-end architectural ecosystem to manage the entire lifecycle of the Credit Risk Management process for Wholesale Lending at Citi. And we’re doing this while continuing to maintain and iterate on our Legacy Credit Risk platforms and operations.

Responsibilities

• Is disciplined, with an eye for detail, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Deeply understands test methodologies - such as functional, integration, regression, globalization, localization, and performance testing
• Works collaboratively across product lines and department boundaries to enable functional testing and work closely with the engineering team to help build out the tooling and automation.
• Working closely with the product management team helping with the UAT cycles and regression test application as necessary.
• Work closely with the QE team aiding in designing and developing reliable automated test suites that run as part of the project CI and/or nightly build system.
• Have a basic understanding of automation testing and performance testing.
• Manage and run the QA cycle as part of the agile development cycle and work towards taking the sprints to closure.
• Is comfortable in a collaborative, agile, and distributed development environment.
• Triage efficiently, prioritizing issues by the highest impact and scope. You know how to get the right bugs fixed

In addition to the above responsibilities, senior position responsibilities also include:

• As a lead, develop strategy and help drive adoption of the QE strategy within the organization
• Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes
• Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
• Own success – Takes responsibility for successful delivery of the solutions. Mentoring other developer on their implementation while needed and organize review to make sure the success deliverable.

Technology Skills:

• Drive and promote quality culture within and outside QE
• Collaborate and partner closely with program managers, development leads, test leads and production support teams to ensure that software is tested to highest quality.
• Explore, test, and configure not just technical flows but actual business transaction and provide deep insights
• Knowledge of SDLC and QA methodologies, quality process, defect tracking systems including change management.
• Experience with automation in tools like Selenium, Cypress an added advantage
• Help in troubleshooting application issues using user journeys, usage tracking and heat maps, snapshots, metrics, diagnostics provided by reporting tools.
• Hiring, Team building and able to attract right talent to be build resilient team.
• Maintaining the manual & automated test suites and enhance it as the product matures.
• Foster a spirit of innovation and collaboration regarding Quality Assurance.
• Experience with performance testing (NFR) an added advantage.

Qualifications:

• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
• Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role
• Experience in designing and implementing automation test frameworks, test strategy, test scripting, test suite execution and test reporting
• Demonstrated leadership skills an added advantage
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as functional tester
