Job Description

Our client is a leading manufacturer of high-quality tires for a wide range of vehicles, including passenger cars, commercial trucks, and industrial machinery. With over 25 years of experience in the industry, there’s a deep understanding of tire design, production and performance, with great commitment to providing the best products possible.

Job Overview:

Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Engineer is responsible for testing and validation of TBM, curing, and tire testing equipment. He/she introduces new TBM and curing recipes into production. This position also includes promoting quality performance and improvement across production and all supporting functions of the Dayton Plant.

Background Profile:

  • Familiarity with TBM, Uniformity Testing Machines, and Curing Presses
  • Certified Quality Engineer and Certified Six Sigma Black Belt are desirable
  • Undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role in atire production facility (PLT preferred)
