Quality Control Scheduling Analyst

The Quality Control Analyst for Scheduling and Sampling works to ensure that the quality control program operates in accordance with institutional and third-party requirements, including the Federal Housing Administration, the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation, and the Federal National Mortgage Association. The individual in this role creates and utilizes guides and checklists to identify individual loan files for quality review and works with teams to assemble, transmit, and process loan files for quality review.

The Quality Control Analyst for Scheduling and Sampling will gain a deep knowledge of the loan production volume of Home Loans and align the sampling methodology utilized for quality reviews to the risk profile of the loan portfolio.

There will be focus on the following areas:

• Analyze each production report to identify the amount and type of loan files for quality review based upon the institutional requirements and the requirements of critical third party business partners.
• Create and present reports, charts, and graphs to summarize the results of all quality control reviews.
• Create reports, graphs, and charts of sampling activities for management and third parties.
• Collaborate with other team members to facilitate the orderly flow of file information during the review process.
• Analyze prior quality control findings to identify trends in findings and thereafter conduct a risk-based review of existing loan production reports to target additional files for discretionary quality review.
• Assist with the design and implementation of remedial plans to address findings.
• Provide training and guidance to teams that addresses findings.
• Obtaining or creating loan production reports for funded pre-funded, denied, and withdrawn mortgage loan files on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
• Ensure that a timely review occurs.
• Utilize technology to flag each selected file for review, and thereafter monitor the review process to

About You:

• 4+ years Prior quality control experience required.
• Extremely high attention to detail required.
• Ability to understand and interpret common mortgage documents, including consumer-facing disclosures,
• Capability of multi-tasking in fast-paced but positive environment with heavy volume of transactions.
• Ability to work independently and exercise reasonable judgment when discharging duties.
• Underwriting records and closing documents.
• Knowledge of modern FHA, FNMA, and FHLMC quality control sampling requirements required.
• College degree or equivalent work experience
• Ability to analyze large volumes of data and compile summary reports with trend analysis using Smart.
• Sheet, Google Sheet, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
