Software Quality Analyst Intern

As a Quality Analyst Intern, you will be involved in all phases of software development, from requirements definition to production releases. You will be embedded in a cross-function team of analysts, developers, product managers, and testing staff, collectively striving to quickly deliver high-quality, high-value software. This contrasts to most other environments where the culture encourages "throwing the code over the wall" for QA to test. We work in an environment that encourages individual initiative, leadership at all levels, and team-based continuous improvement void of hierarchy and bureaucracy.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Developers, Testers, Quality Engineers, Business Analysts and Product SME's to create and maintain application quality
• Analyze test results and ensure it meets acceptance criteria
• Creatively find ways to break an application
• Learn and perform integration, functional, backend and end to end system testing
• Read and analyze business requirements, workflows and design documents
• Learn test management tools, such as Jira, Zephyr Scale, Confluence
• Understand and analyze quality assurance metrics
• Create and execute test cases
• Attend and actively participate in all Agile ceremonies

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Ability to independently plan, prioritize work
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a driven, passionate, creative, and collaborative environment.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in CIS/CSE/MIS
• Enthusiastic self-starter capable of quickly taking ownership of features, applications, and systems
• Ability to multi-task and drive results with a sense of urgency to meet aggressive project timelines
