Looking for an experienced QA tester with extensive knowledge in automation testing who can perform functional, regression and backend testing using automation testing tools. Well aware of QA methodologies and demonstrate strong analytical knowledge to design and develop test scenarios for thorough testing and reporting defects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for monitoring automaton test execution and reporting defects.
- Analyze business requirements and develop detailed test cases and test scripts.
- Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills to find hidden defects and identifying root cause.
- Knowledge on developing or enhancing of existing Automation framework.
- Experience for developing and maintaining automation test scripts in Java/Python Selenium for multiple applications.
- Responsible for writing test plans outlining scope, approach, resources and schedule of test activities.
- Managing and tracking work using management tools like JIRA
- Provide QA progress and appropriately prioritize bugs/ issues with the BA and development team.
Technical Skills / Tools:
- Strong experience in writing automated test scripts using test framework such as Junit/ TestNG or Robot.
- Strong hands on experience in Core Java or Python.
- 5+ years overall QA experience.
- Experience with CI/CD environment and tools like Jenkins, Maven & GIT.
- Experience in design and development of Automation framework.
- Strong knowledge on Selenium WebDriver test automation.
- Strong team player with interpersonal relationship skills.
- Experience with JIRA Zephyr or HP AML
- Experience in UNIX, VBScript, Perl, Shell.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) frameworks such as Cucumber
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Agile software development process.
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priority tasks effectively
- Experience in Data validation and Data Quality testing using ETL tools
- Experience in Compliance platform or equivalent Investment Banking domain is preferred.
- Experience in Web service/API automation using Java/Python
