Quality Control Technician: Position Grade C (Entry-level)


Description/ Job Summary


  • Able to handle job stress and interact effectively with others in the workplace
  • Performs product quality assurance testing in accordance with established procedures
  • Assist in Line trial testing
  • Complies with all written and verbal safety rules, using personal protective equipment as required by department and plant safety programs
  • Performs audits of Slitting Departments of finished product
  • Data Entry
  • Must have regular, reliable attendance as well as the ability to work outside the regular schedule as required
  • Comply with Plant safety regulations and good manufacturing practices
  • Follows any and all directives of Quality Control Supervisor


Preferred Skills


  • A high degree of written and oral communication skills
  • Proven team-work concept
  • PC knowledge a plus


Preferred Education


  • High school diploma or equivalent


Quality Control Technician: Position Grade B


Description/ Job Summary


  • Complies with all written and verbal safety rules, using personal protective equipment as required by department and plant safety programs
  • Assist in Line trial testing
  • Comply with Plant safety regulations and good manufacturing practices
  • Able to handle job stress and interact effectively with others in the workplace
  • Follows any and all directives of Quality Control Supervisor
  • Performs audits of Slitting and Shipping departments of finished product
  • Data entry
  • Performs product quality assurance testing in accordance with established procedures
  • Must have regular, reliable attendance as well as the ability to work outside the regular schedule as required
  • Semi-finished and finished product testing / inspection
  • Knowledge of all instruments, function and calibration
  • Train with Sr. Technician on troubleshooting laboratory equipment


Preferred Skills


  • Proven team-work concept
  • PC knowledge
  • A high degree of written and oral communication skills
  • 1 year experience in Plastic Industry with QC of BOPP Plant

  • High school diploma or equivalent


Quality Control Technician: Position Grade A

  • Follows any and all directives of Quality Management
  • Performs product quality assurance testing in accordance with established procedures
  • Troubleshoot all lab equipment when required
  • Complies with all written and verbal safety rules, using personal protective equipment as required by department and plant safety programs
  • Knowledge of all instruments, functions and calibration of equipment
  • Able to handle job stress and interact effectively with others in the workplace
  • Data Entry
  • Semi-finished and finished product testing / inspection
  • Assist in Line Trial Testing
  • Assist QC Supervisor in updating and revising methods and procedures
  • Performs audits of Slitting and Shipping departments of finished goods
  • Comply with Plant safety regulations and good manufacturing practices
  • Must have regular, reliable attendance as well as the ability to work outside the regular schedule as required

  • 2 yrs. Experience in Plastic Industry with QC
  • A high degree of written and oral communication skills

Quality Control Technician: Position Grade Sr.


Description/ Job Summary


  • Troubleshooting all lab equipment when required
  • Knowledge of all testing criteria
  • Modify and maintain QC Data System Program
  • Follows any and all directions of Quality Management
  • Comply with Plant safety regulations and good manufacturing practices
  • Must have regular, reliable attendance as well as the ability to work outside the regular schedule as required
  • Filing of ISO procedures and implementation of updated forms
  • Knowledge of all film types and applications
  • Duties of QC Supervisor upon absence
  • Substitute and perform QC shift tech functions when the circumstances need so as determined by the QC Manager and/or QC Supervisor
  • Daily Production Reports
  • Pallet Inspections

  • Ensures update notifications to responsible persons on all department policies and procedures that require periodic reviews and updates
  • Pallet Inspections
  • Troubleshooting all lab equipment when required
  • Knowledge of all testing criteria
  • Follows any and all directions of Quality Management
  • Modify and maintain QC Data System Program
  • Assist QC Supervisor in updating and revising methods and procedures
  • Must have regular, reliable attendance as well as the ability to work outside the regular schedule as required
  • Daily Production Reports
