Are you looking for an opportunity to manage, lead and implement long to midterm quality management plan for laboratories to ensure the delivery of compliant products to customers? If so, this is the role for you.
As a QC Transfer Leader, you will form and lead site project team for QC methods transfer of a new drug substance including setting priorities for project and project team meetings, coordinating project team activities, and ensuring that GSK and GMP guidelines are met.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following
- Drive a strong safety culture within QC and the site.
- Accountable for the performance, development and culture of the team.
- Management of all analytical method transfer activities and personnel.
- Ensure knowledge transfer from giving site to receiving site including all applicable roles.
- Presentation of results to key local and global stakeholders for decision making efforts.
- Contribute to process improvement and optimization for product transfers.
- Communicate any risks observed onsite during responsibility execution
- Interpretation of analytical data within the proper context of the products being manufactured and the tests being performed to ensure product quality.
- Liaise with global project manager, giving site, and receiving site functions.
- Adhere to established EHS policies and procedures.
- Ensure site readiness for campaign start-up.
- Approval authority of analytical method transfer protocols, including discussion with key stakeholders, and resolving issues and challenges.
- Provide investigational support and review of any analytical deviations/OOS incidents related to Qualification/Validation.

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Minimum of 8 years of Quality Control or Laboratory experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry
- B.S. in Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology or equivalent scientific/engineering degree
- Minimum of 8 years of leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Industry and science practices related to the business
- Communication
- Documentation (GxP, Data Integrity) principles
- Regulatory inspection experience
- Report preparation
- Technical feasibility assessment
- Presentations
- Team leadership
