Overview

The Specialist, Campaign Distribution QA are the backbone of the QA Team, with the majority of their focus on billable client work. The Specialist is responsible for making sure that every email campaign is error-free, matches project requirements and is structurally sound (i.e. no business critical rendering issues are present or functionality is broken). They will adhere to internal QA processes and make recommendations for process improvements. The Specialist will work with internal teams to escalate errors found in emails and ensure they are resolved. This position requires a strong attention to detail and effective communication skills as the main goal of this role is to find errors and communicate with other teams to resolve them. Specialists focus the most on client billable work with a utilization target of 100% for billable work.

Responsibilities

Individual Responsibilities

• Deployment Setup
• Identify errors and escalate to appropriate teams for resolution
• Being accountable for final approval
• Delegating tasks to other QA team members
• Project Requirements
• Ensure that proper checks are done for each email campaign based on the project requirements outlined in the project documentation
• Check for business critical rendering errors across designated email environments
• Verify setup in the clients’ email service provider and confirm send date & time
• Verify images and copy are correct according to documentation, and that copy is free of obvious typos or grammatical errors
• Take ownership of projects as they come into QA, including collaboration with QA Manager, Campaign Distribution QA, Campaign Management, and Campaign Distribution on:
• Rendering
• Test functionality & verify correct destination URL and tracking codes
• Work with other QA Team members to maintain and follow internal QA standards
• Project requirements
• Ensure that email campaigns are compliant in the following areas:
• Links
• Actively work toward a 100% external error-free rate
• Collaborate with team members on ways to improve internal processes
• Content
• Timelines

Qualifications/Experience

• Self-motivated and accountable - the right candidate takes a lot of pride in their work
• Strong attention to detail
• 0-2 years professional experience
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Organized and able to juggle multiple projects at once

As required by law, Shift Paradigm provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington. The salary range for these residents is $40,000.00 to $60,000.00. Salary is based on several factors including but not limited to role, skillset, relevant education, level of experience, certifications, etc. In addition to base salary, Shift Paradigm offers benefits such as medical, dental, vision, STD/LTD, Life/AD&D, Flexible Paid Time Off, and various other ancillary benefits and perks.
