Job Description
Job Introduction:
Maximus is currently looking for QA Billers to join the Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) team in a remote capacity. The QA Biller is responsible for processing invoices which includes ensuring all charges on the invoices are entered properly and accurately, as well as processing provider reimbursement.
Summary:
A QA Biller is responsible for the final invoice on each case, ensuring that all charges on invoices are entered properly and accurately, as well as processing provider reimbursement.
Job Summary: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Process invoices within your queue; - Analyze accounts and use proper CPT codes and correct rates; - Ensure accuracy in charges as well as payments to providers; and - Other duties as assigned. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: - Knowledge of CPT codes; - Ability to work independently; - Attention to detail; and - Basic math skills. Minimum Qualifications: - High School Diploma required Education and Experience Requirements:
Home Office Requirements
  • Preferred Windows or Mac (no Chromebooks)
  • OS for Mac – Big Sur (11.0.1+); Catalina (10.15); MacOS (up to 12.5) or newer
  • USB plug and play wired headset with a microphone and noise suppression
  • Private work area and adequate power source
  • Internet speed of 20mbps or higher required (you can test this by going to www.speedtest.net)
  • OS for Windows – Windows 10 or newer
  • Connectivity to the internet via either Wi-Fi or Category 5 or 6 ethernet patch cable to the home router
  • A second monitor is highly recommended for most positions
