The HUB International summer internship program exposes students to the vast career opportunities within the growing insurance brokerage industry. This is a full-time, paid, 10-week internship.

Where You Come In:
We are looking for a QA Automation Intern to engage with our Transactional Lines business through its exciting next phase of growth. This role will be charged with automation testing in partnership with Product Owners, Software Developers and Architects, Product Designers, IT, Security and Infrastructure, Call Center operations, internal Business Partner Management and PMO functions. This role will be involved with testing on a personal and small commercial product growth by supporting a 21st century digital brokerage application platform, with a passionate focus on providing protective solutions for both consumers and small business owners.
Core Responsibilities:
Assist engineers to designs develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automated suites of tests through continuous integration for value-added feedback.
Helps develop test automation suites to expand test coverage to all our microservices and integrate it into the regression and release process.
Incrementally develop performance tests for our applications to be used on-demand and as part of regular testing.
Reproduces, debugs, and isolates problems and verifies fixes.
Qualifications:
Enrollment in an academic program of study in or related to Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering
Knowledge of QA methodology and tools
Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly
Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of Python and JavaScript
Knowledge of object-oriented design and coding skills
Department Information Technology
Required Experience: Less than 1 year of relevant experience
Required Travel: No Travel Required
Required Education: Some college (no degree)
