Client has an offshore QA production team and this contractor will be theliaisonbetween the US based team and the offshore team.When the development team is going into production, there are consistent production issues so they need someone to own this process, build it out, and make it efficient and effective.They are looking at Automation tools right now but are looking for this consultant to give suggestions for software selection.

Review and refine test case scenarios in relation to all the existing systems an d their integrations to be on a par with everchanging integration landscape and upcoming projects and 2) Automate the run through all test cases to maximize the “quality” of QA given that the volume of test scenarios ever increases. Someone to find and fixes bugs in a product or program before its launch, collaborating with developers on fixes to those problems when necessary. Confirm that everything is operating as it was agreed upon during the quality planning stage. Measure how effective your pre-determined processes are and confirm that all compliance needs are being met. Take note of any lessons learned. Identify areas where there is an opportunity for a smoother process

Some problems they are hoping to solve:

•Need someone to partner with RUN to identify PROD issues and incorporate them into QA Test plans.

•Need someone to ‘think strategically’ about the QA Testing being performed.Who is responsible for identifying Abuse and data payload fringe cases?

•Need someone to manage the overall QA process.How does it integrate with BUILD and DEPLOY?What is their role in Projects?How will Agile change QA?What does the future roadmap look like for QA?

•Need someone to consider AUTOMATION moving forward.Where is the most value?How do we mature here?What tools/solutions/prereqs need to be considered?

•Need someone to oversee the quality of LOWER ENVIRONMENTS.How close to PROD should the Test environment be?What prod issues are we encountering due to Lower Environment mismatches?What should the standards be here?

•What is the role of QA after GO-LIVE?Need someone who will be RESPONSIBLE for the project PROD issues.
