Job Description

Title: QA Lead

Location: NJ

Role Type: W2 Contract Engagement


Key Requirements


  • Strong SQL experience
  • Any of Oracle, Sybase, SQL server, DB2 skills
  • MS Office Skills
  • Testing Experience
  • Strong in SQL Queries, UNIX Skills


Job Duties


  • Efficiently work with leadership, analysts, dev team and business team on an ongoing basis.
  • Monitors all testing related activities and related project risks and issues and manages their resolution and impact.
  • Review Test results and follow defect management process.
  • Effectively work in a collaborative environment.
  • Work with business users to gain sign off.
  • Provide daily status to Test Lead.
  • Involved in the development of test plans for highly complex projects.
  • Responsible for writing and executing test cases, mapping test cases to requirements, conducting peer review of test suite, opening and tracking defects and issues, closing testing activities related to complex application and system implementation projects using a formal project management methodology.
  • Ability to work with cross functional teams.
