Manual Quality Assurance Engineer

Our client, a world renown Media & Entertainment organization, is looking for a driven and results oriented Associate QA Engineer to join their newly formed platform engineering team. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, self-starter with experience testing state of the art mobile applications that leverage multiple backend services in a cloud environment. Responsibilities:

• Define, create, maintain and execute test cases based on requirements and specifications
• Perform hands on manual testing of mobile/tablet/connected devices releases
• Review application builds to ensure on-time delivery and overall product quality
• Collaborate cross functionally with Product and Dev teams
• Support the testing effort of an assigned project and its features
• Participate in Agile ceremonies
• Identify and report functional, visual, performance, cross-platform or other types of bugs and issues

Required Skills/Knowledge:

• Strong communication skills
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and improve testing skills through new techniques and tools.
• Strong attention to detail
• Some familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
• Basic understanding of ALM tools such as JIRA, AzureDevops or other helpful QA/development tools
• 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
• 1+ years working with web and/or mobile apps
