This is an DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY for the right candidate!

Responsibilities:

• Communication with vendors with discrepancies.
• Expedites delivery of products and maintains credible deliver information for purchasing order.
• Establish and maintain purchasing data such as price, landed cost, lead-time, order quantity, and product description.
• Assists with product line and SKU inventory strategy (stock vs. non-stock status).
• Evaluates potential suppliers and recommends sources of supply based on alignment with company expectations.
• Stay up to date on industry and product knowledge and market trends.
• Measure and monitor purchasing and inventory metrics and strive for high performance.
• Review requisitions and release purchase orders in a timely manner to meet customer requirements.
• Maintain sufficient levels of inventory at our branches and distribution centers to meet customer demand while achieving company inventory turnover objectives.
• Receiving inventory into the system.

Qualifications:

• HVAC purchasing or general management: 5 year (Required)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Accounting acumen.
• Negotiation and business relations skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Must be familiar with all aspects of HVAC.
• Analytical thinking ability.
• Judgment and decision-making skills.
