- Hybrid Role Primarily work from home with a few in-office days per month in Escondido, CA
- 9/80 Schedule
- Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to track and manage all purchasing activities.
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to drive cost savings and improve efficiency.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, ensuring that all contracts are negotiated to the best possible terms for our organization.
- Stay informed about industry trends and changes, using this information to inform purchasing decisions and strategies.
- Resolve any issues or disputes with vendors in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the purchasing process, from the initial request for proposal (RFP) to the final delivery of goods or services.
- Conduct regular audits of vendor performance, ensuring that all goods and services are delivered on time and to the required standards.
- Collaborate with various departments, including accounting, to ensure that all financial aspects of the purchasing process are accurately recorded and managed.
- High level of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Experience with ERP systems, with a strong preference for candidates who have experience with medical specific systems.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of RFP processes, contract negotiations, and vendor management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- High School Diploma/GED required; Associates Degree preferred.
- Excellent negotiation skills, with a proven track record of securing favorable terms and conditions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a hybrid role, balancing time between office and remote work.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions based on data and insights.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices would be an added advantage.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a purchasing, procurement, or accounting required
