Purchasing Planning Manager:

This pioneer company in Biotech is looking to support and promote a talented Purchasing Planning Manager who will lead all aspects of procurement and planning in a GMP-level facility . The ideal professional will have a strong background driving the efficient procurement of raw materials and the effective scheduling of a GMP floor as well as eagerness to join and contribute to a tight knit, mutually supportive community of skilled experts.

What you will do:

• Lead the performance and development of a 3 – 4 supply chain team.
• Collaborate with Site leader and Sr. manager of operations in long-term Operations strategy development.
• Establish and maintain Supply Chain metrics and facilitate weekly and monthly reviews.
• Deliver results across the breadth of supply chain including: PPV, on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, cost savings, supplier management and customer satisfaction.

Who you are:

• APICS or equivalent certifications is ideal.
• Significant experience with product transfer and new product implementations
• Experience working with or in a contract manufacturing environment is ideal.
• Prior experience with diagnositcs and / or ISO 13485 is ideal.
• Have a continuous improvement mindset. Experience with lean methodologies is ideal.
• Experience in a regulated, GMP manufacturing environment.
• Proven knowledge in ERP and MRP systems. Experience in the Macola environment ideal.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing and developing people is a MUST.

What does this position pay?

Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.

The expected range for this role is $100,000 to $140,000 per year.
