Public Safety Leadership Development Associate

Job Summary:

Fortune 250 company seeking future business leaders to help foster growth, efficiency and innovation as a Public Safety – Leadership Development Associate (LDA). The Public Safety LDA role provides services within public safety communications, response, and preparedness.

IMPORTANT: This program will have a start date of July 2023

Primary Activities and Responsibilities:

• Maintain relationships with internal & external stakeholders
• Coordinate and train with CSX public safety departments to identify cross-functional efficiencies
• Provide timely and accurate communications to employees, internal departments, and customers of CSXT

Minimum Qualifications:

• Less than one year of work experience
• Required to be completed by June 2023 with a GPA of at least 3.0 (based on a 4-point scale) overall
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, Justice Administration, Homeland Security, Public Safety

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong multi-tasking skills
• Ability to maintain composure under all types of situations
• Ability to address inquiries/situations promptly while maintaining a customer service orientation
• Microsoft Office skills

Job Requirements:

• Different shifts as assigned in a 24 hour/7 days a week operation
• Work hours may vary in length and schedule (non-standard work week)
• Field and office environment
• Travel up to 25%
