Volt is immediately hiring for a Public Relations and Communications Coordinator in Fountain Valley, CA.

As a PR and Communications Coordinator you will:
PUBLIC RELATIONS & COMMUNICATIONS DEPARTMENT SUPPORT

• Responsible for scheduling of meetings and other department activities
• Take meeting notes and distribute minutes as required
• Provide support in all public relations activities including:
  • The planning and execution of new product launches
  • Product PR support
  • Corporate and lifestyle PR support
  • The creation of department reports
• Corporate and lifestyle PR support
• Product PR support
• The planning and execution of new product launches
• Assist in the management of vendor partners, ensuring that vendors are delivering work of exceptional quality during the timeframe provided
• The creation of department reports

BUDGET & FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATION

• Act as the key point of contact for all budget-related activities, including submission of Scopes of Work and Purchase Requests for new programs
• Responsible for the payment of department invoices

This is a full time, temporary assignment expected to last 12 months, possibly longer. It also offers a foot in the door of a top company know to hire our top talent so perm opportunities may be available. Hours are M-F from 8am - 5pm with the flexibility to work hybrid, 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. Only local candidates will be considered at this time.
The ideal candidate will have:

• Completed Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations or Communications
• Strong proficiency using MS Office
• 0 - 2 years of Public Relations or Communications experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all teams

Pay Rate: $23-26/hr
** Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
