The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH) is seeking motivated and highly-qualified candidates for exciting positions available in multiple locations throughout the United States. The OASH oversees the U.S. DHHS’ key public health offices and programs, a number of Presidential and Secretarial advisory committees, ten (10) regional health offices across the nation, and the Office of the Surgeon General (OSG) and the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps (PHSCC). As a Public Health Analyst- for Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health, you will:

• Researches various sources and references and responds to inquiries and writes issue and background papers, a variety of reports, program policies, proposals
• Collects and interprets data and information from a variety of sources and prepares recommendations accordingly
• Conducts short and long-term planning, program development, policy and program analysis, and program evaluations
• Serves as liaison, committee member, or similar point of contact with internal and external representatives
• Develops, coordinates, and implements performance measures to evaluate organizational productivity for a major organizational segment of an agency
• Serves as an analyst and, independently or as part of a team, plans, manages, and/or evaluates large public health program(s), projects, and/or study activities

The ideal candidate for this position is ready for an opportunity to join one of our program offices to serve as a management analyst responsible for analyzing and evaluating a variety of administrate operations.
