Over 5,000 institutions across the globe receive PHS funds (totaling over $50B) for research each year.

ORI oversees and directs PHS research integrity activities on behalf of the HHS Secretary under the PHS Policies on Research Misconduct (42 C.F.R.   • Working to ensure that institutions conducting PHS funded research are compliant with the Public Health Service Policies on Research Misconduct (42 CFR Part 93);
  • Supporting PHS-funded research institutions as they work to foster a research environment that promotes research integrity and the responsible conduct of research, and to respond effectively to allegations of research misconduct;

:

As a Research Integrity Specialist in the Office of Research Integrity, Division of Education and Integrity, you will work to support ORI’s mission to promote

research integrity, prevent research misconduct, and protect public health and PHS

funds by contributing to education and outreach activities, internal program-related initiatives, compliance activities, and regulatory matters.
