THE OPPORTUNITY
Meliora clinicians have a central and vital role within the company, delivering a range of evidence-based assessments and intervention programs to individuals and families affected by mental health difficulties through our interactive online clinical platform.
We are seeking Licensed Psychologists (Child & Adolescent) to work with us on our Neurodevelopmental and Mental Health Teams, who are skilled and experienced in:
- Autism diagnostic assessments
- Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) assessments
- General mental health and intake assessments
Key Duties:
- Act as a professional role model at all times
- Meet service objectives and key performance indicators
- Work within the framework of your regulatory body, and maintain professional certifications
- Conduct comprehensive, multi-method ADHD assessments to provide diagnostic clarification using multiple sources of information
- Manage / investigate concerns / incidents / quality issues and provide reports
- Conduct high quality, multidisciplinary autism diagnostic assessments, working with others to reach a diagnostic conclusion, and providing interventions tailored to the needs of the child and family
- Effectively communicate with neurodiverse children, young people and adults, families, internal and external staff
- Maintain the highest standards of clinical record keeping including electronic data entry and recording, report writing and the responsible exercise of professional self-governance in accordance with relevant professional codes of practice and Healios/Meliora policies and procedures
- Conduct general, multimethod mental health intake and diagnostic assessments to determine appropriate level of care and/or focus of therapy
- Act in accordance with Healios/Meliora policies
- Support the development of junior clinicians including supervision of speech language pathologists who work on our multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain and continue active professional development throughout your practice
- Leadership opportunities available commensurate with level of experience
- Adhere to the principles of effective, ethical, culturally competent, trauma-informed, and safe treatment of children and their families
WHAT YOU REQUIRE:
Essential
- Must be Licensed in FL, NJ, OR NY
- Must live in continental US
- Applicants must be trained and have at least 3 years experience in conducting mental health assessments for children, teens and young adults
- A curious mindset and drive to challenge the status quo for achieving better outcomes
- Excellent documentation skills
- Strong interest in educating families on a variety of topics
- Strong leadership skills
- Experience providing clinical supervision and / or staff development
- Ability to communicate complex and sensitive clinical information effectively, orally and in writing, to clients, their families, parents/guardians or other stakeholders
- At least 2 years experience in autism and ADHD diagnostic assessments.
- Applicants must be ADOS trained and experienced
- Experience of delivering support / interventions to neurodiverse children and adolescents
- Applicants must be licensed as a Psychologist in Florida or New York or some combination of these states to practice independently. Willingness to become licensed in other states.
Desirable
- Experience with quality improvement preferred
- Experience managing others preferred
- Experience in developing policies and procedures
