About the role

Elemy is looking for a driven Licensed Psychologist (Psy.D or equivalent degree) to join our fast-growing teams in Florida or Texas and provide telehealth services to our pediatric clients (ages 2 - 17). As an applicant, you need to be licensed to practice as a Psychologist in Florida and/or Texas (PSYPACT is not sufficient), though can be based anywhere in the US.

We have a mix of part and full time opportunities at top market compensation and can fit your schedule. Most importantly, with our tech-forward approach and streamlined operations we will make sure you spend your time on providing direct care while we handle all the administrative work for you, from patient onboarding and scheduling to payor relations and billing.

As a Psychologist on our care team, you will assess, diagnose, and treat children who may have slight or severe mental, emotional or social disorders, working collaboratively with our cross-functional clinical team, including our psychiatrists, mental health and ABA therapists.

Typical clinical scope includes working with children experiencing a range of conditions, such as Autism, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, and PTSD among others. Our clients include a diverse population with a mix of private, public, and uninsured patients.

What you’ll do

• Provide complete documentation and records of assessments and treatments according to in-house policies
• Educate family members on what they can do for their child or how to respond to certain behaviors
• Collaborate with Elemy’s clinical psychology leadership to improve our clinical approach and processes in order to create the best experience for each family
• Conduct regularly scheduled pediatric behavioral health diagnostic evaluations for conditions such as Autism, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression and Developmental Delay
• Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans, when appropriate

What you’ll need

• Comfortability and experience providing consultations via telehealth strongly preferred
• Ability to travel locally to meet with patients in a clinic setting is not required but is a plus
• Ph.D. or. Psy.D. in psychology, or equivalent degree and licensed to practice within the United States
• Adhere to all professional, ethical, and legal regulations as determined by relevant regulatory bodies and the law
• Experience working with children as a psychologist in a clinical setting is required
• License to practice in Florida and/or Texas as a psychologist (PSYPACT not sufficient)
• Spanish Bilingual is a plus
• Familiarity with common Autism diagnostic measures including CARS-2, GARS-3, MIGDAS-2, and ADOS-2 strongly preferred
• Experience conducting behavioral health diagnostic evaluations, including Autism, ADHD, Anxiety, and Depression
• Excellent communication skills - capable of reaching children of different ages and from different cultural and socio-economic backgrounds
