We partner with friendly and flexible psychiatric nurse practitioners who provide both medication management and therapy to our clients in one visit - saving them valuable time & money.

The opportunity:

We are currently seeking part-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners to perform tele-psychiatric visits for clients based anywhere in Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Florida or Washington State. If you enjoy working on a team with bright, ambitious advanced practice nurses and are seeking the flexibility and autonomy of private practice, this is an excellent opportunity for you. We offer a competitive 1099 compensation model with hourly rates between $90-$110 per hour depending on experience and a robust 6-month new graduate program. We are a supportive work environment that offers mentorship and training. Providers are able to build their own schedules within our operating hours which are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week. We require that providers commit a minimum of 20 hours per week to Lavender.

The responsibilities:

Conduct initial evaluations and collaboratively develop treatment plans with clients for medication, therapy or a combination of both. Proactively follow up with clients at minimum on a monthly basis to assess for efficacy of recommended interventions and ongoing or until treatment goals are achieved. Our clientele strongly prefer combined medication and therapy appointments, thus it is important that applicants are comfortable providing various modalities of talk therapy.

The candidate:

• Strong assessment skills
• Active State Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
• New grad to 2+ years of experience working in adult mental health
• Must have own computer and a quiet, professional space to take tele-psychiatry appointments
• Ambitious, client-centric work ethic
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• ANCC Board Certification
