Description of Duties:

• Other reasonable duties as assigned.
• Maintain national certification as an NP
• Maintain an active role in professional clinical practice
• Provide student advisement and mentoring
• Engage in professional and/or academic activities at the local, community and national levels
• Promote opportunities for engagement with scholarship
• Teach graduate nursing courses offered in online, hybrid and face-to-face formats, primarily in the Family Nurse Practitioner Program
• Support department-level and institutional-level efforts for program development and growth

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:

• New York state license as an NP
• Nationally certified Nurse Practitioner

Preferred Requirements

• Doctorate degree completed (Preferred) or in progress
• Teaching experience preferred

Certification

• Must hold a current New York State License.
• Holds a Family Nurse Practitioner License.
