Position Summary:
The incumbent is the subject matter expert for the MHS ECHO Credentialing and Provider Data Management System for the MultiCare Health System. This position provides advanced technical support and is responsible for the configuration, implementation, security, maintenance, system incident management, and production support of this enterprise application. Specific responsibilities include: coordination of all ECHO related audit/maintenance procedures, new installs/upgrades, system enhancements, consistent methodology, issue escalation processes, system-wide reporting, special ad hoc reporting, user training, and general assistance with the Echo application. Work situations are a combination of intermediate to complex analytical and administrative responsibilities requiring independent decision-making, problem solving, leadership, systems analysis, customer service skills, organization, public speaking skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Internal contacts require establishing rapport and working relationships with all levels of staff, management, physicians and medical providers, and MHS executives. External contacts include vendor relationships and outside professional and healthcare organizations.

Minimum Requirements:
Three (3) years of experience in data management with increasing responsibility for database program design, production, administration, maintenance, support and application enhancement

Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a health related, business information systems or other related field. Five (5) or more years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Certified as Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) by the National Association of Medical Staff Services; or agrees to challenge and has demonstrated the ability to pass the next CPMSM/CPCS examination
