Voluntary Benefits (Voluntary), a division of Trustmark Insurance Company, is seeking a Proposal Assistant II to join their team. In this role, you must be organized, resourceful, have the ability to multi-task and display strong time management skills.
Summary of position: Under direct supervision, you will conduct initial review and submission of Sales Request for Proposals and create and send proposals with rates.
Responsibilities Include

• Other duties as needed/assigned.
• Provide department back-up support as needed.
• Complete hard copy binders for formal RFP’s.
• Create hard copy binders for formal RFPs and proposal unit reports, as required or needed.
• Review/log Request for Proposals (RFP), set up case files, review/scrub information received ensuring it is accurate and submit to Underwriting.
• Enter case and product information in Salesforce software, updating status as needed.
• Completion of all standard Voluntary Worksite and Group Proposals and Rates

Qualifications Include

• A minimum of 1-year of insurance experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to multi-task to meet business needs.
• Strong time management skills.
• Must be proficient in Word, Excel and Adobe Reader.
• Prior voluntary insurance experience preferred or the ability to learn Voluntary Insurance products.
• Prior experience or knowledge or new or re-enrollment underwriting offer process preferred.
• Prior experience using Salesforce or other web-based software preferred.
• Ability to following direction.
