Project Manger Jobs

Collaborates heavily with WHQ-based Program Leadership to ensure program and project management needs are supported.

 Assists in ensuring the teams are practicing Agile principles.

 Partners with and supports Technical Product Managers and Scrum Masters in managing the backlog to ensure it is properly prioritized and appropriately sized.

 May assist Scrum ceremonies (backlog refinement, planning meetings, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, demos).

 Helps prepare the team for and facilitates squad level Quarterly/Program Increment (PI) planning activities.

 Assists with tracking and communication of agile metrics (such as team velocity and sprint progress/burn down chart).

 Assists Scrum Master in the alignment and assistance of Technical Product Manager and Delivery Team to make appropriate commitments.

 Responsible for promoting continuous improvement by coaching the team to use metrics to identify and measure progress.

 Interacts with Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization and cross-squad/cross-functional collaboration on delivery execution.

 Be open to and adopt new approaches to facilitation, agile best practices and how to improve team dynamics.

 Helps the Global team to focus on delivery of high quality stories on a predictable, sustainable cadence.

 MS/BS degree in IT or related field

 6 years relevant work experience i.e on Agile

 Experience working with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools (eg. Jira, VersionOne)

 Familiarity or experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum, LEAN, Kanban, SAFe, XP Programming etc

 In-depth understanding of Agile Principles and how they apply in workplace culture

 Strong facilitation and coaching skills within teams and groups

 Experience resolving issues across teams

 Effective communication, team dynamics, conflict resolution, mentoring, and servant leadership skills

 Relevant certification in the Scrum/Agile field is preferred. Examples: Professional Scrum Master (PSM I), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
