Job Description
Overview: Under the general direction of the Director of Software Services, the Project Manager Team Lead serves as engagement manager for projects that represent critical business opportunities for Revvity Signals Software in the Americas. The Project Manager Team Lead fosters ongoing relationships with engagement sponsors and business leads, planning for and assigning project opportunities, advising on solutions to key business problems, and effectively managing assigned projects to ensure successful completion and sponsor satisfaction. This will include formal management of other team member(s) and/or management of project team member(s).


Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Process engineering & optimization for project delivery in collaboration with Service Operations lead
  • Serve as a trusted liaison to project sponsors and partner with Service leadership and Account Managers to identify future needs for existing customers. May assist to scope individual engagements by defining objectives, required deliverables, resource needs, and timelines.
  • Present information to project teams and to leadership
  • Line management of Project coordinators and Project Managers
  • Capability enhancement/expansion for project delivery of service offerings
  • Organizational design principles
  • Data analysis skills
  • Build project deliverables, including kickoff presentations, meeting decks, status memos, and final presentations
  • Effectively manage projects by working independently or by managing one or more internal and/or external team members, to:
  • Business strategy for continuous improvement of project delivery measured by customer satisfaction, on time and on budget
  • Process improvement methodologies
  • Lead one or more work streams under larger initiatives
  • Analysis/benchmarking for projects
  • Develops (in conjunction with cross-functional stakeholders/groups) a change management and a communications plan as appropriate for each project to assist with implementation
  • Lead one or more initiatives related to key service project delivery quality improvement, such as training programs, offer definition and development, tool selection or process improvement.
  • Performs project reviews of effort, budget and scope and manages compliance with invoice schedules and internal compliance.
  • Supervise other team members and/or stakeholders and will need to set appropriate job expectations, provide regular feedback, conduct timely project reviews, identify performance challenges, create action plans and monitor the effectiveness of those action plans.

  • Support engagement sponsors and business leads in objectively and effectively solving business problems by leveraging:
  • Management consulting frameworks
  • Knowledge of industry, marketplace, BI, and its key functional areas
  • Identify and raise risks and opportunities to leadership in an effort to garner support for changes in scope, schedule, or budget.
  • Delivery of projects focused on Revvity Signals Software product deployment, implementation, optimization, or enhancement as player\coach
  • Leverage project management frameworks and resources to ensure achievement of project milestones and understand key interdependencies


Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree AND
  • A minimum of two years of supervision experience
  • A minimum of 8 years of project management experience AND


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Ten plus (10+) years progressive business experience required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well-developed leadership skills.
  • Experience in the U.S. Pharmaceutical Industry preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results in a highly matrixed organization.
  • MBA from an accredited institution preferred
  • Familiarity with established project management methodology
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources.
  • Ability to travel (may include overnight travel)
  • Well-developed strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MSOffice required; including demonstrated ability to build high-impact PowerPoint slides.
