Responsibilities
Lead the design management, provide technical direction, and make informed decisions for our industry-leading datacenter designs.
Oversee the delivery of engineering/design projects, including greenfield, brownfield, and retrofit projects, from site due diligence to construction administration phases.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors, such as architects, engineers, and designers specializing in datacenter architecture and engineering.
Manage internal and external resources to ensure alignment of building, power, cooling, telecom, and controls infrastructure designs with the datacenter capacity roadmap.
Facilitate problem-solving and solutions to incorporate new technology and operational processes into our datacenters.
Manage multiple concurrent datacenter design solutions across the Americas.
Collaborate and cross-train with our internal team to enhance efficiency, quality, and project delivery.
The role entails remote work approximately 95% of the time, with potential travel to project sites.
Requirements
A Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 7 years' experience as a Project Manager in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related technical program management; or 10+ years' experience as a Project Manager in mission-critical or high-tech industries.
Professional registration/certification is highly preferred.
Strong proficiency in commercial and industrial architecture/engineering, with a solid technical understanding of electrical and mechanical systems in mission-critical environments or advanced technology facilities.
Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical groups in a fast-paced environment with multitasking demands and frequent process/procedure changes.
Experience managing cross-functional and cross-team projects.
Proficiency in facilitating remote meetings via Microsoft Teams.
A passion for assembling high-performing, collaborative teams dedicated to effective project execution.
Compensation And Benefits
Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000 per year.
