Summary
The People & Organization (P&O), more commonly known as Human Resources, Transformation team at Sony Pictures provides project and change management, product ownership, and process optimization support for the P&O organization. The team strives to create a streamlined ecosystem that that enables rapid organization transformation, supports exceptional service delivery, protects and accurately represents worker data, and enhances experiences for the people of SPE. This role presents the opportunity to participate in strategic projects and deliver on organizational change management (OCM) objectives, partner with subject matter experts across P&O, as well as P&O partner organizations such as Finance and IT and play a key role in ensuring sustainable adoption of all transformation efforts. A qualified candidate must exhibit a willingness to be proactive, build relationships across the business and problem solve effectively. This position will report to the Director, P&O Transformation.
Responsibilities
- Report and escalate challenges, critical decisions and achievements to leadership
- Engage and inform key stakeholders throughout the course of each project and into the maintenance and governance stages thereafter
- Develop and maintain targeted written and visual communications and trainings, following existing brand guidelines, in support of change management objectives and to help promote and enhance key messaging across the organization
- Contribute to special projects as requested by the P&O Transformation Team
- Manage P&O-related internal and/or cross-functional project workstreams and/or small to medium sized projects end-to-end
- Demonstrate effectiveness operating in complex organizational environments
- Coordinate project resources as required
- Measure results and course correct as needed
- Develop strong business relationships focusing on communication and customer service
- Contribute creative ideas and execute on initiatives to elevate project and change management objectives
- Create and maintain project plans, track progress along the way, manage communications and enforce timelines for stakeholders at various levels of the organization
- Serve as a P&O representative on P&O partner organization projects, providing the P&O transformation team’s requirements, raising potential issues, and serving as a general liaison
- Prepare materials for and facilitate working sessions and project-related meetings
- Partner to conduct stakeholder analysis, create and inventory change impact logs, and evaluate and execute on OCM strategies
Requirements/Qualifications
- Confident in interacting with all levels in the organization
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of Project Management, Change Management and/or Communications experience
- Proficient using all MS Office Suite Products in Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Experience working with workforce management and other HRIS systems preferred (Workday, PeopleSoft, Cornerstone, etc.)
- Strong work ethic
- Experience managing projects and/or workstreams with a wide range of stakeholders
- Extremely organized, detail oriented, and a fast learner
- Global perspective required
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills with the ability to tailor communications to best meet the needs of the audience
- Human Resources experience or education preferred
- Ability to maintain sensitive/confidential information
- Knowledge of project and change management principles, methodologies, and tools, including agile methodology
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing priorities as well as work thru ambiguity and rapid change
