Who You Are


Prowess Consulting is looking for a Project Manager (non-technical), with Microsoft software experience to join our growing team.  The ideal candidate will be well-versed in community building and diversity and inclusion efforts and have a solid project management background.


This is a twelve (12) month contract that is likely to extend. This role will be worked in the Puget Sound Area so local candidates to the greater Seattle area only will be considered. No third-party agencies, please.


To be considered for this role you must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia or Washington state.


THE ROLE


  • Work with Finance contact and PMO Director to process speaker agreements and Purchase Orders (POs)
  • Support PMO Director in building and maintaining a campaign to drive people to the Teams site to share information and resources and build community
  • Support the preparation of compelling deliverables, assisting with delivery of the finished product.
  • Manage event intake process
  • Support strong relationships with clients, other stakeholders and colleagues by working in a collaborative, inclusive, human-centered and service-oriented way.
  • Provide operations support to help run the rhythm of the business. Update program calendar ensure program participant information is correct in program documentation, draft select communications and meeting summaries, send meeting requests for PMO-driven meetings
  • Support the measurement of initiative performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Track workback schedule for continuous improvement projects or initiatives.
  • Assist community co-chairs with pre-event communications and speaker preparation
  • Manage communications channels (SharePoint pages, Teams channels, internal websites, email distribution lists, video repositories, etc.) to help participants and stakeholders engage with the program in a clear and consistent way.
  • Post event survey execution and feedback analysis (e.g. trends for continuous improvement)
  • Be the central point of contact for standard operations procedures for internal community-led events.
  • Organize speaker / presenter facilitation and light technical training in partnership with community event leads and internal Studios Production team. (e.g. accessing MS Teams)
  • Creating a posting cadence for a variety of things to share information, spark conversation and/or learning
  • Manage speaker vetting process
  • Maintain lists and status of executive sponsors, co-chairs and planning team members.
  • Building out an editorial calendar
  • Research/troubleshoot/fix issues and answer questions in support of the business.
  • Researching & collecting items for sharing
  • Post Event guidance / Editorial / Archiving (Stream Site)
  • Provide event logistics support for Remote, Live and Hybrid Events in partnership with internal Studios Production team and community event leads.
  • Community event Planning Logistics Support
  • Develop toolsets for client needs to ensure that communications, meeting cadences and workstream progress is easily shared with and understood by stakeholders.


Qualifications


  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
  • End-to-end systems thinker
  • PMI or PMP certification preferred
  • Strong Program Management, Project Management, Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field preferred
  • Knowledge in and/or personal experience with community building and diversity and inclusion efforts
  • 5 plus years of project management experience required
  • Knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc.


Additional Details


  • Base Pay ranges are different for different work locations within the U.S., which allows for competitive pay and consistency in different states
  • U.S. based employees, working 30 hours per week or more have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, basic life insurance, a 401K plan with matching, well-being benefits, education benefits, among others.
  • The offered base pay range for this specific role is $175,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
  • U.S. based full-time employees receive 11 paid holidays, and accrue paid time off
