Technical Project Manager/Scrum Master

We are looking for a self-motivated individual in a hybrid project manager/scrum master role that can motivate a team of people and help them stay focused and on-task.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and manage project risks
• Work with business analysts, technical leaders, developers, architects, test leads towards providing efficient solutions which meet needs of the business
• Tailor the process to meet projects needs and ensuring continuous process improvement
• Ensure SDLC methodology is followed for the project in accordance with company standards and guidelines
• Facilitate project communication – develop communication plans and execute them to keep all involved parties aligned (development teams, business teams, vendors, etc.)
• Manage project - plan, assign resources, coordinate project schedule and dependencies, track project status and drive it forward
• Help define and maintain project roadmap, manage release plan and development priorities accordingly
• Maintain project tools and documentation traceability (tasks, delivery plan, scope changes, etc.)
• Facilitate collection of new business requirements and effort estimation for upcoming initiatives

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational, time management
• Practical understanding in PM methodologies including waterfall and iterative approaches and ability to work in hybrid project model
• Analytical mindset
• Ability to handle multiple project streams within the team
• Ability to independently manage, organize and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
• Good negotiation skills
• Project Manager experience with waterfall and iterative projects – at least 3 years
• Manage release timelines for Development, QA, UAT, and Production
• Scrum-certified, experience with the scrum master role with a development team - at least 3 years of hands-on experience (above and beyond coaching)
• Provides project and release status to stakeholders
• Manage Production issues and ensure the issue is tracked
• Identify issues and risks and proactively add to the iterative discussion
• Oversee sprint planning and retrospectives, and conduct daily stands up
• Manage a distributed team of developers and testers – at least 3 years
• Transparent, structure and result-oriented approach
• Communicate efficiently within and outside the team
• Deep understanding of SDLC

The salary range for this role is $120,000-$140,000.
