What does a successful Technical Project Manager do at Fiserv?

  • You'll plan, coordinate, and monitor scope.
  • You'll partner with key business stakeholders to ensure a successful start-up and completion of a project.
  • You'll work under moderate supervision with oversight provided by the Manager within Professional Services to achieve team goals.
  • You'll ensure a predictable, consistent, and successful project delivery.


What you will do:

  • Control and track project performance, time allocations, cost, and quality by constantly evaluating project progress and conducting regular team status meetings
  • Manage the change control process, including owning the process documentation related to the overall process flow for the Business Unit
  • Create and maintain a project schedule for each project by identifying and monitoring: overall project timeline, project milestones, tasks, resources, ETAs, task dependencies, and critical paths
  • Responds to occasional requests for additional off-hour work in the event of an emergency client incident or critical business need
  • Defines scope and project objectives and develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, and status reports to achieve objectives
  • Drive projects from original concept through final implementation working with internal resources and external customers, including coordinating with other project managers and organizational entities to identify and monitor issues, impacts, and dependencies and building relationships with all functional areas and managing stakeholder expectations


What you will need to have:

  • 5+ years of experience managing cross-functional projects
  • 5+ years of experience in a client-facing project management, implementations, or consulting role
  • 3+ years of experience working in a matrix environment
  • 5+ years of experience with Project Management tools including Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence, Clarity, etc.
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office applications


What would be great to have:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Project Management work experience
  • Experience in banking, financial services, and/or software industries
  • Experience working with online banking and security products
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
